A segment administrator is an administrator whose access is limited to the users in one organisational segment, rather than everyone on the LMS. You create one the same way as a full administrator, but you also assign them a segment. To learn more about the available admin types, see the full guide.
Note: An administrator can manage only one segment, but a single segment can have several administrators managing it.
Step-by-step instructions

Look at the web address you use to log in:

Go to Users.
Find the user you want to make a segment admin, click the three dots in the Actions column, and select View/Edit User Details.
Scroll down to Access rights and select the access rights you want to give the user.
In the segment field, click the arrow and select the segment this administrator should manage.
Click Save changes.

Go to Users.
Find the user you want to assign admin rights to, click the arrow on the right of the user's details and select Administrator Access…
Select the appropriate access type.
(Optional) To send an email to the user confirming the access change, select Send access email now.
In the Assign to Segment field, click the arrow and select the segment you want.
Click Assign access to [username].
Note: Administrator access applies immediately, though the user may need to log out and back in for changes to take full effect. Atlas doesn't notify them of their new rights, so let them know directly if needed.

No. A user can be an admin of only one segment at a time. If someone needs to manage more than one segment, consider giving them full administrator rights instead.
