How do I add an individual user?

Overview

You can add a new user to Atlas and set them up to sign in with either an email address or a username, depending on whether they have a work email.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to your Atlas admin page.

  2. Click Users in the left-side menu, then Add a user in the top-right corner.

  3. Enter the user's first name, last name, and other required fields.

  4. Choose their sign-in method:

    1. Email:
Select Yes for "Has email?" and enter their email.
      OR

    2. Username:
Select No for "Has email?", then create a username and temporary password to share with them directly.

  5. Fill out custom fields, if applicable.

  6. Select the user's profile (e.g. Learner, Training Coordinator, etc.)

  7. Click Save details to create the account.

Note: Users created with an email address automatically receive a welcome email inviting them to set up a password. Once they've done this, they can access their account and start training.

Users created with a username don't receive any communication from the system. It's your responsibility to share their login credentials and any other sign-in details with them directly.
