You can view a learner's assessment to see their responses. Only assessments with a status of In progress or Completed can be viewed — there's no content to view at other statuses.
Step-by-step instructions
Go to Assessments.
Find the learner whose assessment you want to view. You can narrow the list in a few ways:
If segments are set up, click the arrow on the All segments button to choose a segment.
To show assessments for a specific course, click the arrow on the All courses button and select the course.
Filter to find a specific learner — see How do I filter assessments?
Click the Open button on the right of the learner's details to show their assessment.
Scroll through the assessment, or click a topic in the Outline to jump to the responses for that topic.
To exit, click the Exit button at the top of the page.

Only assessments that are In progress or Completed can be viewed. If the assessment is Not started, there's no content to view yet.
Can I change responses while viewing a completed assessment?
Can I change responses while viewing a completed assessment?
No. A completed assessment can be viewed but not changed. To make changes you'd need to start a new assessment — see How do I start an assessment?
