Overview
You can reset or delete an assessment that's In progress. Completed assessments can't be changed — they're archived to keep a permanent record.
Step-by-step instructions
Click the Course library tab in the menu.
Click the Assessments tab on the menu bar at the top of the page.
If segments are set up, click the arrow on the All segments button to choose a segment.
To show assessments for a specific course, click the arrow on the All courses button and select the course.
Choose the status In progress.
Find the learner by filtering — see How do I filter assessments?
Select the learners by ticking the checkbox on the left of their details.
The Actions bar shows the number of learners selected. Click the arrow on the Actions box to show the menu.
Select Reset.
In the pop-up, choose an option:
To delete the assessment and set the status to Not started, click Delete.
To delete the assessment and create a new one, click Start again.
Note: You can also do this for an individual learner from the menu on the right of their details.

Delete removes the assessment and sets the learner's status back to Not started. Start again deletes it and immediately creates a fresh assessment for the learner.

Completed assessments are archived as a permanent record and can't be changed. Only In progress assessments can be reset or deleted.
