How do I download an assessment issues report?

Overview

The Assessment Issues report is a PDF that helps you spot common problem areas across your learners. It contains:

  • Totals for questions and learners with raised issues

  • Questions with issues, to help identify common problem areas

  • Learners' responses and comments on issues

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Click the Course library tab in the menu.

  2. Click the Assessments tab on the menu bar at the top of the page.

  3. Apply filters to find the data you want — see How do I filter assessments?

  4. Click the Export button on the right of the assessment status tabs to open the Export Assessment data window.

  5. Select Issue report.

  6. A link to the report is emailed to you. You can also download it from the Jobs complete list in the top-right corner.

You can open and print the PDF in any web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, or Google Chrome.

What's the difference between the Issue report and the CSV export?

The Issue report is a PDF focused on flagged issues — totals, problem questions, and learner comments. The CSV export contains the full assessment data for analysis in a spreadsheet. See How do I export assessment data?

Where do I find the report once it's ready?

A link is emailed to you, and it's also available from the Jobs complete list in the top-right corner.
