How do I add a Course pass?

Written by Daria Nasedkina

Overview

A Course pass is a shareable URL link that lets users enrol on a course themselves:

  • If a user has an account: clicking the link automatically enrols them on the course as they log in, saving you the enrolment step.

  • If a user doesn't have an account: clicking the link asks them to register (email, first name, last name), then automatically enrols them as they log in — saving you both registration and enrolment.

A Course pass is also required before you can download a SCORM package for a course. For background, see What is a course SCORM package?

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Click the Settings tab in the side menu, or the ⚙ Settings icon in the top-right corner.

  2. In the Courses section, click SCORM & Course passes.

  3. Scroll down to the Course passes card.

  4. Click + Add course pass to open the Add a new course pass window.

  5. Click the arrow to show the list of courses.

  6. Select the course and click Add course pass.

The course is now listed in the Course passes section. You can access the course URL link and SCORM package from the menu to the right of the course details.
