When we release a new version of a course, most accounts receive the update automatically. In two situations the update isn't applied automatically and you need to request it from support:
SCORM users — courses delivered through a SCORM package in your own LMS aren't updated automatically.
Customised courses — if you have a bespoke or customised version of a course, the new content isn't applied automatically so your customisations aren't overwritten.

How to request the updated version
Message us using the bot in the bottom-right corner of the screen. To help us action your request quickly, please include:
The name of the course you want updated
Whether it's a SCORM course or a customised version
For SCORM, where the course is hosted (the name of your own LMS)
Note: Until the updated version is applied, users will continue on the current version of the course. Their existing results and certificates aren't affected.
FAQ
Why isn't my SCORM course updated automatically?
Why isn't my SCORM course updated automatically?
SCORM packages run in your own LMS rather than in Atlas, so we can't push updates to them automatically. You need to request an updated package and re-upload it to your system.
Will requesting the update overwrite my customisations?
Will requesting the update overwrite my customisations?
No. That's why customised courses aren't migrated automatically — we'll work with you to apply the updated content while preserving your customisations.
What happens to existing results and certificates?
What happens to existing results and certificates?
