Overview
The Documents & Policies add-on lets you upload your own documents for users to read, so you can make sure your teams are familiar with the materials that matter to your organisation. You can set a resource as required reading and link it to specific courses through course settings.
Typical documents include company policies (such as health & safety, data protection, or code of conduct), employee handbooks, procedures and guidelines, risk assessments, and onboarding materials.
Note: Documents & Policies is an add-on and is not available by default. Contact your Client Development Manager to add this functionality to your account or submit a support ticket.
How to access Documents & policies
Click the Settings tab in the side menu, or the ⚙ Settings icon in the top-right corner.
Find the Add-Ons section and click Documents & policies.
Adding a resource
In Documents & policies, click Add resource in the top-right corner.
Upload your document and add its details.
If you want users to confirm they've read it, mark it as required reading.
Save the resource. It then appears in your list of documents.
Note: The exact fields shown when adding a resource may vary. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the upload.
Linking a resource to a course
You can link a document to a specific course so it appears alongside that training. This is set up in the course's settings rather than in Documents & policies. See your course settings to link a resource.
Finding and managing resources
